Biography
Just north of New York City was home as I grew up, and then again when we were raising our family. As a child I spent many vacations in the north country. I chose to attend college at SUNY Potsdam and later earned a graduate degree from SUNY Albany. Watertown and Malone were home to my mother, and my husband's family was from Glens Falls, Warrensburg, and Pottersville, so I have a long association with upstate New York. As a math teacher and later a guidance counselor, my jobs took me to Rochester, Schenectady and Kingston. I have four, now adult children and a semi-retired husband, whose career took us to Asia for several years. Helping people brings me a great deal of satisfaction, and I have enjoyed being a NYS Emergency Medical Technician with a volunteer ambulance corps, as well as a Hospice volunteer.Areas of Expertise

Why I Love the Adirondacks
Together with my husband and
children, I spent many wonderful vacations camping, canoeing,
hiking and skiing in the Adirondacks. Now relocated to
Chestertown, my husband and I are enjoying the peace and quiet,
the friendly people, the lakes, the mountains and all the
outdoor activities so readily available here. As a significant
plus, our children love to come to visit.
